This is me...

Who am I?
What inspires me?
What is the story behind my business?
Those are some great questions & I am thrilled to answer them!

So...before I start, I want to apologize if this ends up being a bit long but there's just so much I want to share with you!

I am a loving, passionate, creative person who is trying my best to create & live a life I am proud of and that I love. I will admit, it has been a roller coaster of a ride but over the years, I have not only learned a lot about business...I've also learned a lot about myself. I learn a little more each day.

I've done a lot in my life up until now including teaching both regular & special education preschool, working as an assistant & working for a florist to name a few but the best part of my life and what I am most proud of are my 2 boys. You'll see them in most of my samples photos. I'll admit they do drive me crazy sometimes but they are my pride and joy & I can't imagine my life without them. My boys are my inspiration for starting my business and for keeping me going when I just want to quit. My one hope is that through the craziness of life (especially around the holidays), they will know just how much they mean to me and how much they have inspired me.

That sums up why I began my business and why I create everything that I sell. I opened my Etsy shop in 2015 as a hobby after a friend kept encouraging me to sell the invitations that I kept creating for my boys mostly but also for family & close friends. At the time, life was a bit up in the air for many reasons but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I should at least give myself a chance and see what happened. Little did I know how much I would truly love what I was doing and how much it would help build my confidence over the years. I learned as I went, learned from my successes & my mistakes. What I'm most proud of though - I NEVER GAVE UP!! For someone who was struggling with self-confidence, never giving up is a HUGE accomplishment.

I turned my dining room into my workshop!  Yup...I said it.  Who needs a dining room, right?! LOL.  When I first moved into my house, my work space existed in 1/2 of my laundry was a little bit like working in a closet to be honest but I made it work.  At Christmas time, I would have orders everywhere and anywhere that they could safely stay and dry as needed.  Needless to was amazing to finally move into a larger space - my dining room.  With the larger space, I was able to get more organized and be more productive and creative!  I even turned my old work space in my laundry room into a drying area!  I even have a nice framed cork board in my workshop - my motivation board I call it - where I post my best most motivating reviews so if I ever start to doubt myself, all I have to do is look there for a bit of inspiration.  I love my workspace and I get inspired every time I sit in it!

I create beautiful personalized photo keepsakes as well as invitations and cards all designed especially for your unique style and needs. I make everything by hand myself and I love every minute of it.  My offerings are constantly expanding as I work hard to achieve my goal of being able to run my business full time.  I actually have a little notebook (it's now falling apart) that I carry around with me everywhere in case inspiration hits...and believe me inspiration hits in the oddest and sometimes most inconvenient places lol.  That notebook is filled with ideas that I can't wait to bring to life.  Everything I create is lovingly handmade as mentioned before, with most items personalized using your photographs. All of my items have a story behind why I created them in the first place.  While most of the stories are my own personal ones, some are those of my amazing customers.  I do have some amazing customers too who have helped me bloom over the years.  I am so grateful for each and every one of them!  My items are all inspired by the love of my boys, loved ones & pets, the love of creating, the love of learning and the love of bringing joy to my customers.  You will see that & maybe even feel that for yourself when you receive/give your special gift.  As I've been told many many times by my customers..."YOU'RE SIMPLY GONNA LOVE IT!!"

I pour my heart and soul into every single item I create so when I tell you that my items are "created with love"...they truly are.  Whether it be an item I make many of or single custom requests, they're each one-of-a-kind and filled with just as much love.  My mission is always to ensure you love what you receive as much as I loved creating it.  <3
